Key Stage Results 2016

Results at Aslacton Primary

EYFS

Good Level of Development (GLD)

44.4% of pupils achieved a Good Level of Development. The national figure is 69%

 

Early Learning Goals (ELG)

At least 89% of children achieved better than expected progress in every area.

5 children did not meet expected in either Reading, Writing or both, however, all but one child made better than expected progress in these areas.

 

Phonics results

In Year 1, 81.8% of pupils achieved the expected standard in phonics which is higher than the national average of 81%.

In Year 2 50% of pupils who had not achieved the standard in Year 1, achieved the expected standard in phonics.

In Reading, Writing and Maths combined 64% achieved the ‘expected’ standard which is higher than the national of 60%.

The school’s performance is above national at Key Stage 1. The school has attended statutory moderation and all results have been ratified.
